About the film:
This night is dedicated to Michigan’s talented filmmakers showcasing their talents in a series of various short films.
Bruised Fruit is about two outcasts struggling to survive on the margins of society, while they build a beautiful friendship as they face loss and hardship.
Verso is a short film about the dangers of a resentful mind following a horrific night at an artist mixer and the desire for revenge.
Something Blue – A lonely wedding photographer falls for a wedding crasher, who disappears under untold circumstances.
Autolysis – Lizzie has a special relationship outside of school which she hides from those around her.
Road Runner is the Headliner of the night made by Fellpeller Studios. This 1970’s crime drama focuses on Danny Landowski. A husband and a father to some, he is really a selfish, pool hustling criminal on the streets of Detroit who never got out of the game. With the help of his partner, Chris, he may have just found his way out – with one last job.
