Time for a Reel DESPICABLE ME 4 review

About the film (courtesy of Universal Pictures):
Gru (Steve Carell), Lucy (Kristen Wiig) and their girls – Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and Agnes (Madison Polan) – welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Sofia Vergara), and the family is forced to go on the run.

Despicable Me 4 is a fantastic movie, hilarious from start to finish. Jokes fill nearly every scene, with the minions as funny and mischievous as ever. Everything about it is amazing – the animation, the plot, the music, and more. The soundtrack fits perfectly, never missing a beat, and the story is incredible, with the villainous Maxime terrorizing Gru and his family. The cast and production team did an impeccable job bringing this story to the big screen.

The action scenes are a highlight, perfectly balancing excitement with comedy. The humor is spot-on, making you laugh throughout the entire movie. The smaller stories woven into the overall plot are also fantastic, giving us glimpses of other beloved Despicable Me characters from past films.

I loved every aspect of this movie and hope everyone else who watches it will feel the same. In my opinion, Despicable Me 4 is a must-watch for fans of the series. You can catch this latest continuation of the franchise in theaters everywhere just in time for the Independence Day holiday. Despicable Me 4 is in theaters everywhere starting Wednesday, July 3rd.
